Japanese fabric has got to be my absolute favourite. Whilst in Tokyo I had a lovely time in an area called Nippori, famous for its fabric shops. I found a wonderful kimono shop that also sold smaller pieces of antique and vintage kimono fabric.
I couldn't resist!

(...but I DO understand your sentiments...I have had far too many "precious" bits in my stash for far too long :-)
Oh make something with them kate - then you can enjoy them every day rather than them being in a cupboard where you can't see them!
